Stitching general pieces for Mixed Bag
Info for stitching pieces to be made
into totes, wheelchair /walker bags, etc. Send completed pieces to

You can stitch whatever you like for
the mixed bag pieces. They can be whatever color, fabric, or size you like.
If it is a smaller piece, a fabric
frame can be sewn around it to make a nice tote. Or if it larger, it
can be made into a pillow or wheelchair bag. Two coordinating small
pieces (such as small flowers, butterflies, or birds) can be used on
the pockets of a walker bag.
So, to sum it up, stitch whatever
strikes your fancy.
Please be sure to leave fabric margins of at least 1.5 inches so there will be enough to sew the bag, pillow, etc.
Squares for the children's totes can
be from 4x4, 5x5, 6x6 or anywhere in between.
For the walker bags, squares are
smaller, 3x3 or 4x4; 2 coordinating squares, such as small flowers,
birds, etc.
For the wheelchair bags, they are
usually about 4x4, 5x5
Larger pieces can be used as
centerpieces for quilts or large pillows.
